Midlands Memories is an online collection of photographs donated by citizens that depict people, places and events of local historical significance. Contribute your Midlands Memories. Richland Library is looking for historical photographs from the city of Columbia, Richland County, and the Midlands area of South Carolina.
If you have a photograph that depicts significant historical events, people or places, bring it in to the Walker Local and Family History Center on the third level of Richland Library Main to be scanned, or email it (scanned at 150 to 300 dpi) to email@example.com. If selected, your photograph will be shared online through the Midlands Memories photograph collection. Help us identify each photograph. Let us know when and where the photo was taken (or your best guess). Describe what is going on in the picture and who is in it. You may submit more than one photograph.
Anything you contribute to the Midlands Memories project will be covered by a Creative Commons license.
